East to Atlantic

We finally left Dublin (I say finally, no right hand turns in most of the city - so after a few laps, finally seems the kindest way to describe our departure) heading for Galway Bay, we used the Motorway (tolled) assuming that traveling from one side of the country to the other could be a tiresome business, instead an hour and half later we were rewarded with the Atlantic Ocean and a lovely little seaside town.
We elected to take the coastal road and head for County Clare. It was a little like walking into a new room in an unfamiliar house. All of a sudden the scenery was changing, the houses were different and fields had rock fences and the whole place was peaceful and green. Just lovely!!
The day finished in the village of Adare, and the Dunraven Arms hotel, not only was it very old, but it was also very large, own twin room had it's own dressing room - amazing !
Cheers M xx
