Delicious start, and off for a short sideways move to see one more 'Midsomer' sight, before weaving our way through the Cotswolds, rewarding our feet with sitting in the car, and rewarding our eyes with the amazing landscape and the unique architecture of the area !
The 'slaughters' were delightful, but soon we started to sniff, this was to be known as the 'great poo incident of the slaughter' poor Maree, in her Efforts to capture the scenery with her camera had captured quite a souvenir, from a local pooch !
The day passed effortlessly, meandering through beautiful villages and towns. We arrived in Stratford upon Avon, enjoyed a delightful lunch beside the river. Then off to explore the town and Shakespeare's birthplace.
The evening, another birthday gift - tickets to a Royal Shakespeare Company production of 'Macbeth' - brilliant. I should add, so was the ice cream, Maree - mint Choc chip, me - Ginger Stem SUPERB
Another fantastic day, cheers Michelle x
